THE PRIESTHOOD IS NOT JUST A PROFESSION SINCE THE PRIEST
IS AN INSTRUMENT OF GOD
UNIQUE AND IRREPLACEABLE.
IT IS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN GOD AND US.
"THE PRIESTHOOD IS THE LOVE OF THE HEART OF JESUS"

PRAY FOR HOLY FAMILIES, HOLY VOCATIONS
AND HOLY PRIESTS

WELCOME TO THE GOOD SAMARITAN IN AID OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

The Good Samaritan In Aid of The Catholic Church Ministry, wishes to raise awareness in the community of the need to pray for the sanctity of our priests and for the increase in vocations. In the logo, we see Jesus needing our help. Let us not pass by Him! Let us be His Samaritans willing to heed His call to be saints and work in His Church. He told us: ” Therefore be perfect, even as your Father who is in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48). This can only be achieved through participation in the sacraments He instituted and we receive from our priests.

Saint John Vianney – Cure of Ars explaining to his faithful the importance of the sacraments said: “Without the Sacrament of Holy Orders, we would not have the Lord. Who put Him there in the tabernacle? The priest. Who welcomed your soul at the beginning of life? The priest. Who feeds your soul and gives it strength for the journey? The priest. The priest—always the priest.”

About us

The Good Samaritan In Aid Of The Catholic Church mission :

The Good Samaritan In Aid Of The Catholic Church Ministry was inspired to sensitize the people of God about the importance of the priesthood and invite them to collaborate spiritually in the formation of the candidates for the priesthood, beginning with the education of the family.

The reason for our Catholic faith is the Eucharist. Christ is truly present by the consecration made by our priests. The statistics of the Catholic Church show a strong decrease in the ordination of priests. In light of these events and through continuous prayer we felt a calling to create a ministry to build awareness in the community of the importance in the need to pray for seminarians and to ensure that there is no barrier preventing young men from answering God’s call to serve where they are needed most.

“Prayer is the support that brings to fruition the seed of the vocation within the men and women who offer their lives to serve Our Lord. It is through the power of prayer that those seeking the priesthood and the consecrated life are sustained and nurtured. It is through the grace of daily prayer that we will partake in the work of building the culture of vocations. We will be a prayerful participant in the priest’s ordination.”
